ALL THE INFO

Welcome! For those new to the page, I’m Hannah Elise.

At the beginning of 2021 I lost my highly competitive, well paying, government job in Washington, DC and felt that, for an undetermined amount of time, I needed to step away from the political rat-race. (Hint, we are currently in the middle of said undetermined amount of time.) This decision led to an emotional move and a three month volunteer sabbatical in Kona, Hawaii. During this stay I worked to realign my priorities, took steps toward giving God back the reins of my life, and rested in a life giving community.  

Jokingly, by friends and family, have affectionately dubbed my "break from reality" as my Eat, Pray, Love journey. While the phrase may have begun as a joke, God has already been so abundantly merciful to make aspects of it reality. I am really working to love who I am and who God created me to be, inside and out, right where He has me. Speaking truth onto myself and my journey isn't always a walk in the park, but it does become easier with the God of the Universe by my side. 

While previously based out of the PNW, and after spending six months in ministry training and outreach, I am currently serving as full time staff at YWAM Harpenden in the UK.

Wow, God, what a curveball. 

In a nutshell, God has called me to live a life in full trust of Him with a desire to know Him and make Him known serving in this location for this time. I don't know what that will look like in its entirety, but it's sure to be an adventure with God at the helm, and I am living for it!
